Plain-English summary
ChaoFanCard helps organize public cooking-video links into editable recipe drafts. Use the service lawfully and review every draft before relying on it in the kitchen.
Using ChaoFanCard
These Terms of Service govern your access to the ChaoFanCard website, mobile application, recipe tools, support surfaces, and related services. By accessing or using a service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
ChaoFanCard is designed to help people organize cooking ideas from public links into reviewable recipe cards. These terms apply to the features available to you at the time you use the service; early-access features may be limited, changed, or unavailable.
Eligibility and account responsibilities
You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live. ChaoFanCard is not directed to children under 13. If local law sets a higher minimum age, that requirement applies.
You are responsible for the information you provide, keeping your sign-in details secure, and activity that occurs through your account. Depending on availability, you may sign in with email, Google, Apple, or another method we make available. Do not share credentials or use another person’s account without permission.
Tell us promptly through Support if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Public links, imports, and recipe drafts
You may submit public cooking-video links that you are allowed to share. ChaoFanCard may use the available source material to prepare a recipe draft and show status while the service works on it.
A link can fail or produce an incomplete result when content is private, login-walled, deleted, geo-restricted, unavailable, unsupported, or missing enough recipe evidence. We do not guarantee a particular platform, post, share-sheet action, processing time, background task, notification, offline behavior, export, or source format.
Supported sources, limits, and feature availability can change. A platform’s own terms, privacy policy, and access controls continue to apply.
Review generated results before relying on them
Recipe cards may be generated from spoken, visible, captioned, or manually entered information. They can contain missing, estimated, ambiguous, or incorrect ingredients, amounts, temperatures, timings, allergen information, or steps.
You are responsible for deciding whether a recipe is appropriate for your dietary needs, equipment, skill level, and local food-safety requirements.
Your content and third-party material
You keep ownership of content you create and submit, such as notes, edits, folders, tags, and manually written recipes. You give ChaoFanCard the limited permission needed to host, process, display, back up, and provide that content as part of the service.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit a link or content. ChaoFanCard does not give you ownership of third-party videos, recipes, music, images, trademarks, or creator commentary. Respect creator rights and remove content when you no longer have a lawful reason to use it.
If you believe content on a ChaoFanCard surface infringes your rights, contact Support with enough detail for us to review the concern.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service unlawfully, to deceive others, or in a way that violates another person’s rights.
- Submit malware, abusive material, credentials, payment details, or private content you are not authorized to share.
- Probe, scan, reverse engineer, decompile, extract models or source code, or bypass access controls or usage limits.
- Use automated traffic or scraping that degrades the service, interferes with other users, or targets a third-party platform improperly.
- Use recipe drafts as medical, nutritional, allergen, or food-safety advice without independent professional review.
Subscriptions, purchases, and entitlements
Paid features are available only where we expressly make them available. Draft pricing, early paywall screens, or roadmap language is not a checkout offer.
If you purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable store processes the payment and controls the purchase, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules. If Apple Pay or Google Pay is offered, the payment provider handles the payment credentials. ChaoFanCard may receive transaction or entitlement status needed to provide access.
Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions. Manage a store subscription through the applicable Apple or Google account before or alongside an account-deletion request.
Privacy, communications, and deletion
If you join early access or opt in to updates, we may send service-related or early-access communications. You can unsubscribe from optional marketing messages. We may still send essential account, security, or transaction notices.
Use the verified Account Deletionflow when you want to request deletion. Uninstalling the app does not necessarily delete cloud data.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle account information, recipe content, public links, support requests, analytics choices, and payment or entitlement information.
Changes, suspension, and termination
We may add, remove, restrict, or change features, supported sources, limits, or pricing. We do not promise a release date, uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, or continued access to an early-access feature.
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, third-party systems, or to address a violation of these terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a chance to resolve the issue.
You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination, including content responsibility, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, will continue to apply.
Disclaimers, liability, and contact
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChaoFanCard will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Any additional limits that apply to a specific jurisdiction will be interpreted under that jurisdiction’s mandatory law.
For questions about these terms, use Support. We will publish any required operating-entity, governing-law, and dispute-resolution details in the version applicable to your region before a binding commercial launch.
