Importing public links

Getting a cooking video into ChaoFanCard

What public video links can I try?

The current importer recognizes public links from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and RedNote. A recognized domain is a starting point, not a guarantee that every post will import successfully.

Why did a link fail to become a recipe card?

A link may be private, login-walled, unavailable, unsupported, or missing enough recipe evidence. ChaoFanCard is meant to organize available evidence, not invent missing dishes or steps. Try a public link with clear cooking context, or tell us what happened without including private content.

Can I share a link from the source app?

The mobile app includes share and copy-link flows for the currently supported sources. If ChaoFanCard does not appear in a source app’s share options, copy the public link and paste it into the app instead. The available share options can depend on the source app and device.

Recipe cards

Reviewing drafts before they reach your counter

What does a recipe card represent?

A recipe card is an organized draft based on the evidence available in the submitted source. Spoken, on-screen, and captioned details can disagree or be missing, so review the ingredients, amounts, temperatures, timing, and steps before cooking.

Can I edit a recipe card?

Yes. Imported cards are intended to be reviewable and editable. Correct amounts, adjust steps, and add the notes or substitutions that make the recipe useful for your kitchen.

Does ChaoFanCard automatically scale or convert measurements?

Do not rely on an imported card as a guaranteed conversion or serving calculation. Amounts may be estimated or ambiguous; check the source and use your judgment before changing quantities.

Accounts and privacy

Understanding submitted information and account controls

What information can a support request include?

A support request includes the email address, category, and message you provide. You can optionally add one public source link to help us understand an import issue. Share the minimum needed; never include passwords, payment details, or private recipe content.

How do I delete my account?

Use the verified Account Deletion flow. It sends an ownership-verification step before a destructive request is processed, and the published flow does not promise a completion time that has not been finalized.

Does ChaoFanCard sell personal information?

The current published Privacy Policy says ChaoFanCard does not sell personal information. The website also offers a choice about privacy-conscious analytics. Review the policy for the information categories and purposes currently documented.

Billing and access

What is available today and what is still being connected

Can I subscribe to ChaoFanCard today?

Not yet. The mobile app includes an early Pro experience, but paid checkout and purchase restoration are still being connected. The public website is not a billing or checkout surface.

What happens to a subscription if I request account deletion?

Account deletion and store-subscription management are separate actions. If a store subscription becomes active, manage it through the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play account before or alongside a deletion request.

Availability and early access

Keeping expectations clear while the mobile app develops

When will public downloads open?

The mobile app is still in development and access is being opened gradually. Join the early-access list for an invitation when a testing window is available; we are not promising a public store date before readiness is confirmed.

Keep sensitive details out of support messages

Never include passwords, payment-card numbers, bank details, or private recipe content. A public source link is optional; share it only when it is needed to understand an import issue.
